This clean-lined console table dates to the late 19th century and was likely used as a small offering table or as a dressing stand in the women's quarters of a Qing-dynasty home. The narrow table has a simple silhouette, designed with a rectangular frame enclosing two drawers and thin, square corner legs ending in hoof feet.

Minimal and understated, the table is decorated only by the exposed tenons of the traditional joinery and a thin beaded edge that traces the drawers and front legs. Stripped of its original finish, the table blends into modern interiors with light brown color and a soft, timeworn patina that celebrates the natural beauty of the wood.
