This stone basin was carved by hand nearly two centuries ago, sculpted from solid limestone with irregular texture and an asymmetrical teardrop shape. A pattern of chiseled grooves adds rustic character to the interior and softens towards the base due to years of use as a water trough. Originally placed on a provincial Chinese farm as a trough for livestock, the stone basin is ideal today as a statement water feature, sink basin or garden planter, contrasting delicate foliage with the hard permanence of stone.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
