Meditation Dream Stone

A well-chosen stone is the focal point of both a traditional Chinese garden and a scholar's studio - evoking the complexities of nature and inspiring creative thought. In the spirit of these traditional scholars' rocks (gongshi), we've elevated this unusual mediation stone on a custom steel mount to become a gorgeous natural sculpture.

The stone has an oblong silhouette with sloping curves and a soft, matte texture, patterned with charcoal grey veining against a peach-toned marble field. The striated patterns swirl across the stone with fluid movement, like wisps of dreamy clouds or plumes of smoky incense.
