Brilliantly colored with pastel enamels, this porcelain hat stand was once used by a Qing-dynasty gentleman to display his cap while it wasn't being worn. The hat stand is decorated in the famille rose style, a decorative technique that employs opaque overglaze enamels in pinks, reds, blues, and greens. This hat stand features a spectacular display of fine vessels, each bearing a different flower - peonies for spring, chrysanthemums for autumn, and plum blossoms for winter.

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
