This earthenware vessel from China's Yunnan province is distinguished by its rustic drip glaze and allover stamped pattern. Originally used for storing rice wine or other liquids, the vase has a dramatically tapered form, with bulbous shoulders that narrow towards the base and neck. The shoulders are stamped with a raised pattern of round medallions for added grip and visual intrigue. A dark brown-black glaze sheets across the surface, lingering on each stamp for an irregular, wabi-sabi appearance.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
