This large glazed jar was hand-crafted in China's Shanxi province over a century ago. Masterfully crafted, the jar is patterned in high relief, featuring medallion portraits of chrysanthemums, plum blossoms, bamboo, and pine branches. A textured trim of scalloped and bead-like motifs border the jar's, framed by a pattern of chrysanthemum blossoms and shou symbols of longevity. The rim is left unglazed, the exposed ceramic set in beautiful contrast with the rich brown glaze that drips and pools down the jar's sides.

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
