This woven tray basket was originally used for harvesting grains or in a kitchen for food prep and storage. Despite its humble origin, the basket exhibits remarkable workmanship, beautifully woven by hand of willow and cord around a bent wood rim. The basket has been darkened to a rich shade of brown with a mottled, timeworn texture. Rich with character, the basket is ideal today as a fruit bowl, a serving vessel or a storied home for sundry objects.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
